Future Ventures files DRHP for IPO

Kishore Biyani-promoted Future Group company, Future Ventures, The company plans to

373.62 crore equity shares

Rs 10 each equity shares

2,660,750,000 issue to the public
50,000,000 equity shares for eligible employees
250,000,000 equity shares for eligible shareholders
100 % book building process.

The net issue would constitute 66.52 % of the post issue paid up capital of the company, it added.

REC IPO 23.69 times in retail

REC IPO Finally got subscribed by almost 23.69 times. will update when i get the information.
The net issue to the public is for 15.22 crore shares, constituting 18.18 per cent of the fully diluted post-issue capital of the PSU power major. The issue closes today.
Post issue, the government’s holding in the company will fall to 81.00% from 100 % at present.

CRISIL IPO grade 3/5 assigned to the IPO REC

Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd is a public sector non-banking finance company (NBFC). REC operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power (MoP) and is wholly-owned by the Government of India (GoI). Established in 1969 with the sole objective of financing rural electrification schemes in the country, it services its clients -through a network of 17 project offices spread across India.

For 2006-07, the company's fund-based income and net profits were Rs 28.3 billion and Rs 7.7 billion, respectively. The operating income of the company has grown at a CAGR of 11.4 per cent over the past 5 years, while PAT has grown at a CAGR of 14.5 per cent in the same period.

REC aims to raise Rs 14 billion to Rs 16 billion by this proposed public issue of 156,120,000 equity shares.

Rel Tower plans IPO to 5,000-6,000 crore

Reliance Power completed the country’s biggest public issue, another company from the group Reliance Telecom Infrastructure (RTIL) is gearing up to raise nearly Rs 5,000-6,000 crore through an initial public offering.

RTIL had 14,000 towers across the country when the first stake sale happened in July. Now, it will end up this financial year with 40,000 towers. Also, it plans to add another 20,000 towers next year.

RTIL is putting in an investment of Rs 16,000 crore this year and is expected to pump in Rs 8,000 crore more next year. It has a minimum of four tenancy slots and it is in the process of upgrading this to host seven tenants by 2009. It expects to reach the one lakh tenancy figure this week.

RTIL, a 95% subsidiary of Reliance Communications (RCOM), sold the stake for Rs 1,400 crore to a host of investors including George Soros, HSBC, Fortress Capital, New Silk, Galleon, DA Capital and GLG Capital in a deal which had put its valuation at Rs 27,000 crore.

Going by the IPO size, the equity valuation of RTIL, a company engaged in the business of building, owning and operating communications towers, will be around Rs 50,000-60,000 crore. This will translate into nearly Rs 250-300 per RCOM share. The RCOM stock closed at Rs 612.15 on Friday on the BSE. When contacted, a spokesperson for the group declined to comment.

CRISIL assigns highest IPO grade to Acme Tele Power Ltd

Proposed public issue of 17,283,580 equity shares of face value Rs 2 targeted at an issue price in the range of Rs 800 to Rs 950 per share

For the year ended March 31, 2007, ATPL reported a net profit of Rs.2.30 billion on a turnover of Rs.6.43 billion, as compared with a net profit of Rs.1.16 billion and revenues of Rs.3.85 billion in the previous year.

CRISIL has assigned a CRISIL IPO Grade "5/5" (pronounced "five on five") to the proposed initial public offer of Acme Tele Power Ltd. (ATPL). This grade indicates that the fundamentals of the issue are strong relative to other listed equity securities in India.

ATPL, incorporated in January 2003, was promoted by Mr. Manoj Upadhyay. The proposed IPO is in the form of an offer for sale of 17.3 million shares by the promoters. Subsequent to the IPO, the promoters' stake in the company will reduce to 84.6 per cent from 94.7 per cent.

At the core of ATPL's offering to customers is a packaged solution, 'Green Shelter', consisting of: - A fibreglass reinforced plastic or a nano-cooled enclosure that houses the BTS and other electronic equipment at cell sites- A power management system called the power interface unit- A thermal management system with phase change material, and- Two air conditioners.The utility of each of these products is distinct, and therefore the company also sells them individually.

Emaar MGF Land to raise up to $1.5 bn in India IPO

The India arm of Dubai's Emaar Properties plans to raise between $1.2 billion and $1.5 billion in an Indian IPO, according to a term sheet obtained by a news agency.
Emaar MGF Land Ltd plans to launch its deal roadshow on January 18, with a listing tentatively scheduled for February 27, a source familiar with the deal said.
The company is selling 11.9 per cent of its enlarged share capital in an offering sponsored by Citigroup, Enam Securities, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JPMorgan, Kotak Mahindra Capital and Merrill Lynch.

Continuing to hold investors’ interest, the IPO of Future Capital Holdings (FCH) was subscribed over 132 times on the last day of its issue, while the local bourses suffered losses. According to latest data available on the bourses, the IPO of the Kishore Biyani-led Future group’s financial services arm received bids for 84.84 crore equity shares against the 64.22 lakh shares on offer

JP Associates Rising Money Via JP Power Venture IPO

JP Power Venture will have power assets of 5,000 mw in the next 5-7 years, Gaur said. "The power arm is running a 400 mw power station and is setting up a 1,000 mw plant.

According to Gaur, JP Associates will hold close to 68% post the power subsidiary IPO. The power arm plans to raise fresh equity of 11 crore shares.

The IPO market now following Reliance Power , so its planning to raise 4000 crore by issuing 11 crore shares which will value the share at anywhere from 375 to 400 rs.

SEBI approves Reliance Power's IPO

SEBI to do some homework and give some final ruling and SEBI has also responded for that now .Sebi has stated that there is a lock in of five years for the promoters i.e 5 years from the date of allotment, So may be this will taken as a positive statement by ADAG Reliance Group and they might go ahead with the IPo in the coming month

Reliance Power Limited (RPL) is subsidiary of Reliance Energy Limited. RPL is currently developing 12 medium and large sized power projects with a combined planned installed capacity of 24,200 MW across various geographic locations in India. Money raised through this IPO will be used for these projects.

This IPO will constitute 11.5 per cent of the company’s equity capital. It includes a promoters’ contribution of 16 crore equity shares which would be allotted at the IPO price. The net issue will constitute 10.1 per cent of the post-issue paid-up equity capital of the company and 12 power generation projects currently under various stages of development.
